As the Taliban systematically destroy the country of Afghanistan and at least half its population, I make this piece to acknowledge the women and girls there and think only that ‘There but the grace of God’. Geography and politics have a lot to answer for, but with this collection, a small yellow fruit key to the country’s horticulture signifies the everyday lived experience of many people.
