Oceanics | Sea Beast

When I first made this beautiful creature, they appeared to be male, but I got to know them and saw the person within. Nonbinary, genderqueer, since you’re asking. And strong and kind and funny and sensitive and deeply caring - all of these things, and more.

The description of ‘Beast’ is their choice: a tough exterior, a strong interior whose love for themself helps them stand up for those too broken to fight. Only when their day’s work is done, they openly express their real self, dress their way, and behave like the vital tribal member they are.

With work comes reward, with acceptance comes pride. Taking my inspiration from Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, ‘Sea Beast’ is a much-loved character from the ‘Oceanics’ collection.
